The talented duo “shinetiac” also made a strong impression with “Infiltrating Roku City,” a unique collage album that makes full use of samples gathered from streaming services and online algorithms. This trio project consists of SHINER, PONTIAC STREATOR, and BEN BONDY—artists who are active on labels such as *3XL*, *QUIET TIME*, *MOTION WARD*, and this *WEST MINERAL*. Their sound design continues to reflect a perspective unique to the Y2K era and hypermodernism—a blend of satire and affection.
