The remix by Detroit beatmaker TALL BLACK GUY is also absolutely fantastic! BROKEN KEYS—the electronic dance project of Los Angeles-based multi-artist TOMMY SHERIDAN, who also performs as part of the hip-hop duo SMOKE SCREEN and works with everything from acoustic instruments to hardware—has dropped a 7-inch EP ahead of their new album. Psychedelic indie pop where languid guitar strums, ethereal vocals, and electric piano melt together seamlessly. Highly recommended.

The multi-talented BROKEN KEYS, who has been active in Cleveland’s electronic/hip-hop community for over 10 years, has released the single “Do I Have To” ahead of the release of their new album, *Moving With the Current*! This dreamlike indie pop/downtempo track features melancholic, drifting vocals that blend seamlessly with psychedelic elements. The original track is fantastic on its own, but it’s a real treat to have a remix by the masterful TALL BLACK GUY. He’s reworked it into a dusty downtempo track infused with Detroit-style flair, and even added an MC to expand the track’s scope. It’s great music. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
