From the early days of his career, HOLO has released a string of excellent tracks through labels associated with *SHALL NOT FADE*, such as *LOST PALMS* and *NOIRE & BLANCHE*, and is currently releasing music on various labels, including *HOUSEUM RECORDS* and *LAST YEAR AT MARIENBAD*! The modern progressive track “Space Jam” (sample 1), which paints a mystical atmosphere with lively Latin percussion and soft, floating synth pads, culminates in a vocal hum that seems to rain down from the heavens, transporting the listener to another realm. The entire EP is imbued with a surreal sense of comfort and a floating sensation, as exemplified by “Haag” (sample 3), which absorbs and fuses elements of IDM and dub techno to statically express a world of languid drowsiness.
