Compiled by Jeremy Spellacey of Melbourne, who has produced compilations of 1980s sounds from Nigeria and Ghana, as well as 1980s Caribbean SOCA, for Soundway Records. Liner notes by Lewis Chude-Sokey, a Nigerian-born, Jamaican-raised professor who researches African immigrant culture in the United States, founder of Echolocution: Sonic Arts and Archiving, and musician.
