Featuring remixes by PIEZO and RIVET! A dance experiment that dangerously blends eccentric synth work with electro, dub, and drum 'n' bass. MESAK, a key figure in Helsinki’s left-field electro scene who has released cutting-edge works on his own label 〈HARMÖNIA〉 as well as 〈KLAKSON〉 and 〈ORSON〉, drops a new track centered around 160 BPM. The two remixes, slowed down to the 120 BPM range, are also superb.
Track List

Featuring PICTURE—a side project by Aarhus CENTRAL—and ISMISTIK, the techno alias of Nordic new disco icon BJØRN TORSKE, this new release from 〈ELEKTORNI〉 is not to be missed! TATU METSÄTÄHTI, aka MESAK, who has been independently experimenting with electro in the Helsinki underground, makes his debut. “Backin’ Tracks (version)” (sample 1) is a fast-paced electro track with a mysterious sound, featuring bubbling synths and two-step beats flying back and forth. Avant-garde bass artist PIEZO delivers a massive arrangement of “Glypho Beach Track (Piezo remix)” (sample 2) with a GQOM-style, rugged remix that slows down the BPM. Meanwhile, RIVET (Kontra-Musik/Editions Mego) also presents “Nauha (Rivet remix)” (sample 3), which slows down the original track and adds a swing feel! (Original Japanese text by Akie)
