The album features 13 tracks in total, including the funky disco title track “New You” (sample_1) and “Don’t Stop”; the Afro-funk track “The Vigilance” (sample_2), with its fiery horns and dynamic polyrhythmic percussion; and the mid-tempo track “Ride My Swing,” which features an intriguing rhythmic progression that oscillates between Afrobeat and soul—the album comprises a total of 13 tracks. While their shift toward psychedelic rock in recent years has been understated and cool, Orgone’s style from this era—which was clearly influenced by dance music—is also excellent.
