Featuring PONTIAC STREATOR. Synth designs as smooth as silk and dynamics that create a sense of floating. At times incorporating beats, this masterpiece of ambient dub—with its precise control of space and groove—is born! A new release from 〈SHORT SPAN〉, a rising star in the experimental electronic/dub techno scene, is an album by Brooklyn-based sound artist EDEN AURELIUS. The meticulously crafted textures and details of the electronic sounds provide a stimulating auditory experience.
Track List
From the label 〈SHORT SPAN〉—which has been consistently putting out strong releases from artists like MILES from DEMDIKE STARE, YU SU, and CENTRAL—here comes EDEN AURELIUS, a New York-based electronic musician whose debut release on 〈CO:CLEAR〉 was also fantastic. The downtempo dub track “Entre Nous” (sample 1) envelops a leisurely, pulsing beat in soft ambient synthesis, evoking a celestial, floating sensation. On “Ion” (sample 2), featuring the genius PONTIAC STREATOR (3XL/West Mineral Ltd.) from the HUERCO S. circle, he showcases even richer electronic textures, delivering experimental dub techno that layers vibrant electronics over dry, textured beats. You can preview every track from the tracklist! (Original Japanese text by Akie)
