A new release from 〈ADEEN〉 featuring numerous veteran house artists! This unique album is the work of a golden trio consisting of Chicago legend CHEZ DAMIER, talented Italian house artist NICO LAHS, and producer CAMILLE. It pays tribute to WJZZ, the specialty radio station that supported Detroit’s local jazz culture. Tracks include “Pili Pili,” a dynamic drum-roll collage of diverse samples; “Third World Wave,” a tribal house track woven from a heavy kick and exquisitely loose percussion; and “Haiku,” a deep house track with a mellow, melancholic horn section.
