The long-awaited new 12-inch release from Sleep D & Masam Howieson—the founders of Butter Sessions, a leading force in the Melbourne underground scene celebrating its 15th anniversary this year—is incredible! It features mine-like sonic sculptures blending hard techno, psychedelia, and experimental sounds.
Track List
A1 “Syphon Filter” (sample 1): A powerful, psychedelic-experimental track at 145 BPM that fuses industrial metallic sounds with a strong, steel-like 4/4 beat; BPM 135: A2 “Inertia” (sample 2), pulsating with deep techno, psychedelic, acid, and dubwise elements; BPM 135: B1 “Mirror Pool” (sample 3), a psychedelic and emotional track; and the B2 “Mirror Pool (Konduku Remix)” by the genius Konduku, which features a wonderfully meditative, refined beat and a rhythmic electro-techno-experimental soundscape.
