We’ve received a new release from ACID FOR THE GRANDMA—a label whose every previous catalog has been a cult hit here, and whose bold labels have now become a familiar sight. “Hypnotic Evocation” (sample 1) combines high-pitched synths floating in a realm of fantasy and mystery with a languid, disjointed electro beat—a dangerous sound that’s sure to get you hooked once you experience it on the dance floor. We also recommend “Loose Parts” (sample 2), a modular electro track with a deeply immersive groove and a highly energizing effect. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
