The Melting Hours is a live project launched by the dynamic duo of Wata Igarashi and Kuniyuki. Their first compilation of recordings is now available on Rainbow Disco Club’s label, *Beyond Space And Time*. Rain, bees, chance, the body, electronic sounds, acoustic instruments—a living creature of sound born from one-of-a-kind sessions that transform everything lingering in the moment into sound.

The album features three tracks: “Blue Sun,” which originated from studio rehearsals, and “Liquid Dunes” and “Cloud Touch,” which are reconstructions of live performances from the Draaimolen Festival 2025. Ambient jazz textures, organic sounds breathing within abstract electronic tones, and the pulsing rhythm of downbeats and arpeggios. Drawing on the duo’s respective pasts in techno, free jazz, new wave, and industrial—not as genres, but as reflexes ingrained in their bodies—this is an ambient “electronics organic session” centered on improvisation.
