Featuring an all-star lineup of artists including STEVEN JULIEN (APRON RECORDS) and VANITY PROJECT (CLAPTRAP RECORDS)! The remix album for GALAXIANS’ new UK street soul-inspired album, *Feel in Motion*, is here. The collection features a diverse range of unique mixes, from machine-funk arrangements infused with an exhilarating live vibe to tracks reimagined in a retro cosmic house style.
Track List
A remix single from the new album by GALAXIANS, a veteran synth-disco trio from Leeds that has garnered attention for releases on 〈STARGAZE〉 and 〈ROTATING SOULS RECORDS〉, as well as for past collaborations like their remix featuring METRO AREA’s DARSHAN JESRANI! The highlight is undoubtedly the 808 Machine Funk remix by STEVEN JULIEN aka FUNKINEVEN, which showcases a unique arrangement that retains the original vocals while capturing the dynamic, immersive energy of the hardware. From the proto-house-style acid bass to “Fantasy (Vanity Project Remix)” (sample 2)—which heightens its addictiveness with low-end chords held back—each remix reinterprets the original track’s intense bassline, piano, and soaring vocals to create a euphoric dancefloor experience.
