Track List
GLEDD, a cult favorite known for designs that capture the energy of gospel soul, Afro-tribalism, and disco-funk, has announced the first release in its highly anticipated new series, “Gleddits”! “Street Preacher” features spoken word reminiscent of early rap layered over an uplifting chorus. Next up is “Stevie’s Word,” a gospel-soul edit where a thick bassline fuels the funk’s intensity. Also featured is “Do It For Me,” which takes 80s funk legend Jimmy Castor’s “Anyway, Anywhere, Anytime” as its foundation while highlighting powerful stabs. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
