A psychedelic groover that leads you into peak time with a pulsing bassline, sprinkled with high-energy acid riffs and provocative vocal hooks! We’ve secured a copy of this return release from INNER LAKES—who operate from the deepest recesses of Milan—on the 〈EARTH DOG〉 label, following their previous release on S.O.N.S.’s 〈JUNCTION FOREST〉, which was a cult hit here at our store. It also features quirky twists like processed ragga samples. This is a vinyl-only limited pressing.
Track List
A new release from Milan’s psychedelic master INNER LAKES, who has also released tracks on 〈ART OF DARK〉 and 〈KALAHARI OYSTER CULT〉! He’s releasing his second EP on the rapidly growing Brooklyn-based techno label 〈EARTH DOG〉, led by Jek and djfix. Tracks like “Control” (sample 1) and “Muerte Deluxe” (sample 2)—built around crisp bass, snappy drums, and a bouncy groove, with trippy acid and samples woven throughout—feature eccentric sample work that’s sure to get the dance floor fired up. All the way to “R3vision” (sample 3), which layers reverberating bell synths over a cohesive, even beat to draw listeners into a mystical world—every track delivers star-quality energy. The distributor is already sold out, so act fast. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
