A major compilation from MLO, the charismatic UK electronic duo who drove R&S in the early '90s and whose music opened the early-'90s techno/ambient compilation "Virtual Dreams." Here are cosmic spaces conjured by two artists spellbound by the fully polyphonic analog synth KORG PS-3300 and the classic '80s sampler E-MU Emulator II. The sound palette draws on classical minimalism, new age, and the CLUSTER & ENO records. Alongside introspective ambient/drone led by gongs, analog synths, and classical piano, the mouthwatering IDM cuts — ambient techno, D&B, and breakbeat driven by percussion and drums — hint at real dancefloor potential.
