Released in 1993 (recorded in 1992 at Studio47) by CHRIS & COSEY — Throbbing Gristle's CHRIS CARTER and COSEY FANNI TUTTI — this comes from one of the most dynamic and melodic periods in their catalogue. Eleven tracks of industrial dance music built on electronic disco grooves that anticipate later electronica and tech house, with delicate, melancholic textures coated in a ghostly downer haze; A4 "Apocalypso (Edit)" (sample 3) in particular captures the atmosphere of the early-'90s UK rave/dance scene.
