A new single from Go.Soul.Map., the new disco/synth boogie project by Salvo Dub—a key figure in the Catania, Italy music scene—is being released on 7-inch vinyl by Italy’s Space Echo, known for releases by Galathea, The Invisible Session, and others!!!
Track List
Side A, “Pushing,” features London-based Nigerian singer Derane Obika delivering a sweet, smooth, and lustrous vocal performance over a mid-tempo, elegant, and mellow 70s–80s soul, jazz-funk, and Balearic disco track (sample 1). (sample 1), while Side B, “Back In The Underwater Instrumental” (sample 2)—a BPM 91, spacey, cinematic hip-hop/downtempo instrumental track—is also wrapped in a gem-like sense of comfort.
I’m really looking forward to the upcoming album as well. (Original Japanese text by COMPUMA)
