Format

LP 4390 JPY

Curated by Charles Maurice, head of France's Favorite Recordings, this is the second volume in a series compiling unsung fusion gems from around the world released between 1976 and 1984!

Featuring tracks from Brazil, the Philippines, the Netherlands, Poland, and the USA. Highlights include "Mystified" (sample_1), a Fender Rhodes-drenched cut from US smooth jazz keyboardist Tom Grant; "Pendulum" (sample_2), a wistful flute jazz-funk number by Spain-based sax/flute player Bobby Martinez; and "Oto Przyczyna" (sample_3), sung by Polish vocalist Krystyna Prońko, with its intriguing Brazilian fusion-style groove and scatting. A record full of mellow, breezy fusion and jazz-rock from around the globe. (Original Japanese text by AYAM)
