A 1998 EP by Norken — the side project of Lee Norris, the man behind The Metamatics, who started out on CLEAR/REEL Discs and went on to release on labels like Hydrogen Dukebox, earning wide acclaim in the 90s IDM scene — is back in print.
Released in 1998 on Numbers, a label that only ever put out two records but whose entire catalogue still fetches premium prices today. Reissued by Only One Music, a sublabel of Frankfurt's DBH. Deep house and electro brimming with love for synthesizers and early computer music. Really great stuff, and the sound is a pleasure too. The coarse-dot, low-bit digital artwork has been faithfully reproduced as well.
