The long-awaited new album from the maverick Low End Activist is a semi-autobiographical meditation on the Blackbird Leys estate where he grew up, and on working-class community life. Mood is built from a palette of sound, with sampled voices scattered at key moments to carry the storytelling — weightless grime, atmospheric bass sounds, the science of sound system audio.
