Guitarist João Bosco has built a huge body of work stretching from the '70s to the present day. "O Ronco Da Cuica" (sample_1) is the classic MPB/samba track from his 1976 RCA Brazil album Galos de Briga — a gem fusing impassioned vocals, frenzied cuíca and technically dazzling acoustic guitar. On the flip, Antonio Adolfo E A Brazuca's "Transamazonica" (sample_2) comes from their hard-to-find 1971 self-titled LP on Odeon Brazil. Adolfo founded Trio 3-D and later performed alongside Elis Regina. A Brazilian jazz-fusion masterpiece that will be talked about forever.
