Rivaling the academic and outsider-style minimalist classics by masters such as Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Terry Riley, and Moondog, this album features pastoral minimalist melodies created through a chamber-like orchestral ensemble, vocals and chorus, and computer-generated electronic sounds. A miraculous masterpiece that continues to radiate an evergreen, unique brilliance. It’s also a delight to note that Ann Steel—the lead vocalist and protagonist of his futuristic techno-pop classic from the same period, *The Ann Steel Album*—makes a subtle appearance on the backing vocals here.
