We've secured a limited new release from Persian-rooted talent SALAR ANSARI, whose first physical outing sampling Persian pop drew a huge response. On the A-side, "9 1391919 21" (sample1), organic breakbeats settle gracefully into atmospheric synth-scapes built on entrancing, aesthete chords, with a faint acid bassline as the key element. The B-side, "17151425" (sample2), squares up to Detroit techno head-on, its mysterious synth phrases showcasing ANSARI's originality. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
