Pure improvisational magic, the joy of connection, the quiet poetry of everyday life. Recorded at the Former Guggenheim House in Shioya, Kobe, where Shabason & Krgovich stayed for two days during their Japanese tour, this collection features the duo Tenniscoats, who served as their backing band. Their cover of My Bloody Valentine's "Lose My Breath" is superb.

Sharing perspectives and sensibilities—from the Japanese nicknames for clouds (fish-scale clouds, dragon clouds, mackerel clouds, sleeping clouds, sheep clouds) to a memorial song for Tan Tan, the beloved panda who died of old age at Kobe's Oji Zoo—this album was made while gazing at the ebb and flow of the Pacific from the windows of the Former Guggenheim House. Eight songs were written and recorded over two days, and they're sequenced in the order they were created. "At Guggenheim" (sample 2), gently played over the sound of trains from JR Shioya Station and the sea breeze; "Look Look Look" (sample 3), a call-and-response between soft synthesizers and fragments of voice; and the cover of My Bloody Valentine's "Lose My Breath" (sample 1)—these are miraculous recordings brimming with their delicate, unforced charm. Highly recommended. (Original Japanese text by AYAM)
