Created for a publication project themed on "circulation" by the Serpentine Galleries, the contemporary art institution. An organic soundscape combining field recordings made in Japan (water sources in Yugawara, Kyoto, and Osaka) with synthesizers! London-based Japanese artist HINAKO OMORI unveils a new album on GOOD MORNING TAPES. Limited pressing.

A new release from GOOD MORNING TAPES, the label that keeps putting out wonderful records while connecting with independent artists around the world! A cyclical, meditative ambient work by London-based Japanese artist HINAKO OMORI. Inspired by "listening to a river," an essay by New Zealand writer HANA PERA AOAKE, it creates a mysterious sound that combines field recordings made in Japan with crystalline synthscapes. Uniquely structured in three parts corresponding to the upper, middle, and lower sections of a river, each employing different water speeds and synthesizer motifs. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
