"Souvenir," a slow-motion Balearic folk cut featuring MARKER STARLING on vocals, gets a superb dub mix from label head COYOTE, who drops in a weighty bassline and melts the sound field even further with effects (sample1). Husband-and-wife synth-pop duo PEAKING LIGHTS, long beloved in the US alternative scene, deliver an equally sweet kick-less approach with beautifully layered upper tones — a remix that also serves as a tribute to BRIAN WILSON, who passed away last year.
