Reissued in response to overwhelming demand! Two tracks from Célia's 1972 self-titled album get the reissue treatment.
The A-side is a cover of "Na Boca Do Sol" (sample_1), written and arranged by Arthur Verocai and Vitor Martins, originally featured on the album "Arthur Verocai" released that same year, 1972. Dynamic fuzz guitar and Célia's impassioned vocals give the song a moving quality distinct from the original. The B-side, "A Hora é Essa" (sample_2), which opens Célia's album, is a vibrant samba-funk number colored by jazzy piano phrases, strutting guitar and powerful horns. These two tracks were also released as a 7-inch on 〈Continental Records Brazil〉 in 1972, now a hard-to-find rarity. (Original Japanese text by AYAM)
