From there, the album unfolds as an eight-track collection that fuses an organic, analog-driven sound—achieved through a composition process that eschews computers—with a Balearic sense of floating, all under a theme the artist describes as “a strange state of mind and dub-oriented emotions.” Starting with a first half swaying to bluesy guitar, the second half casually traverses elements of house, downtempo, reggae, and left-field pop before returning to dub.
