In 2019, at the young age of 17, he released his debut and second singles on Scheffer’s label Groundwork! Now, the long-awaited reissue of the masterpiece 12-inch “Prefrontal Asymmetry,” released in 2024 by Second Born, is here! It comes from the up-and-coming UK left-field bass, techno, and breaks artist Porter Brook, who previously released his third EP via Al Wootton’s label Trule!!!
Track List

The standout track is a2, “Does Tina Still Live in Berlin?” (sample1), which races powerfully through the stimulating fragments of electronic music—laced with intense algorithmic noise—delivering a percussive, breakbeat-tech sound. The collaboration with Lagos-born, Manchester-based vocalist LINTD, track b1 “I’ve Developed Eyes for Such Behavior (feat. LINTD)” (sample 2), and the powerful remix by K41 resident GAEL, track b2 "Does Tina Still Live in Berlin? (GAEL's Remix)" (sample 3) are also absolutely explosive!!! The cutting-edge electronic, noisy spatial rhythms and beat-driven sonic aesthetics—which feel almost magical—are on full display. (Original Japanese text by COMPUMA)
