This is an interesting tribute to the "TB-303," which has appeared in almost all of LUCA LOZANO and MR. HO's "KLASSE WRECKS" catalog! First up is LUCA LOZANO, the mastermind behind the acid house "Now I'm Back" (sample 1), with a sharp approach that highlights the sound of the 303 with a solidly reduced number of notes. And MR. HO's "Altered Nuke" (sample 2), another solidly composed minimal house with an irresistible acid bass meander and dry machine beats. ANDREW RED HAND's acid workout "30h3 Emergency" (sample 3) is also good, with its fast-moving lines and Detroit connections, and his EP on TIME PASSAGES last year was excellent.
