Based on a newly discovered stereo master, engineer Tsuyoshi Hodo has created a new mix and mastering. The soundscape is superb, allowing you to feel the atmosphere and immediacy of that era. And the MC segments will make you smile. Every song is fantastic, but the transition from the brilliant band introductions to “Bolero” and then into “Hurricane Dorothy” is incredibly stylish. The performance of “Firecracker”—recorded on the eve of the YMO project—brought tears to my eyes. The LP includes liner notes by Yoshiro Nagato.
