A modern Afro-funk session in the style of Manu Divbango—the king of Afro-disco and funk—by Gerardo Frisina, the master percussionist and composer behind Schema!! His latest 7-inch release. Its tribal, percussive, dub-infused, psychedelic, and hypnotic groove is both soothing and invigorating.
Track List
Side B features “Lindeza” (sample 2), a futuristic jazz and tropical funk track in the Brazilian batucada style, clocking in at around 110 BPM—a truly elegant gem. Both sides feature organic, meticulously crafted productions that work perfectly for both the dance floor and listening sessions, and the sound quality and arrangements are simply delightful.
