FRITS WENTINK, one of the artists emblematic of CLONE’s sub-label 〈ROYAL OAK〉, is making a comeback with house tracks that have already proven their worth on the dance floor! Highlights include the organ phrase in “Burned” (sample 2), where warm, deep synth pads are underpinned by a meaty tech groove, and the round, fat acid bassline in “Heat Shield” (sample 1), where the machine beat is hooked by a cowbell.
