A live recording released in 2025 by Nara-based guitarist Koushu Uenishi, who plays guitar on albums by 〈Senri Records〉 and various projects such as ann ihsa and Kohaku, while also pursuing a solo career. Fans of John Fahey and Robbie Basho won’t want to miss this.

This work was born from a one-night live performance at Pritomi, a coffee shop and record store in Nara, featuring three Japanese primitive guitarists: Yosei Suzuki and Yuji Oba. The laid-back melodies of fingerpicking uniquely evoke the primordial landscape of American primitive music, spanning folk, country, and blues. This documentary is also brimming with the charm of serendipity, as ambient sounds—such as background noises—blend seamlessly into the music like musique concrète. (Original Japanese text by Adachi)
