After A5 "Future Shock" (sample 1) was included on Vol. 9 of Tramp Records' acclaimed compilation series "Praise Poems" in 2022, Tramp launched a full-scale dig into Synod, making contact with the members and unearthing a wealth of material — 12 tracks of which are carefully compiled here.
Highlights include B2 "Sheryl Song Is Gonna Do My Dancing" (sample 2), originally issued as a 7-inch single: disco & boogie with striking synth tones, plus a breezy AOR-funk feel scented with Latin soul and jazz-fusion. B4 "Never Without You" (sample 3), a refreshing AOR folky guitar-rock/soul cut, is equally pleasing. Be sure to check the full tracklist.
