The first film soundtrack from Los Angeles-based musician John Carroll Kirby. Created for the feature film "The Luckiest Man in America," a much-talked-about picture that premiered at the Toronto Film Festival before opening nationwide in the U.S. Drawing inspiration from ambient jazz, new age, and experimental film scoring, the tracks beautifully interlace vintage synths, upright piano, and delicate orchestration, resulting in a first-rate set that captures Kirby's signature warm, dreamlike, psychedelic sound.
