A clever release from Wonderwheel Recordings—the kind that pops up just when you’ve almost forgotten about them—has arrived. Apparently, the group originally had a different name, but after releasing “Maaajo,” a classic track I personally used to play as a DJ, they seem to have kept that name.
It doesn’t offer anything flashy or groundbreaking, but it’s a textbook example of simple, organic dance music with a great sense of flow. It looks like it’ll stand the test of time!
