This album was produced largely with the current live support members. Continuing from the previous album, it condenses a diverse range of musical elements—including blues, country, jazz, psychedelic, and exotica—through the band’s unique sensibility. Furthermore, while the band identifies as an instrumental group, this album features eight vocal tracks born from the overflowing emotions of the members, offering a glimpse into their singer-songwriter side. In addition, the album features a collaborative track with Neibiss titled “Recent Update (feat. Neibiss)” and contributions from numerous guest musicians with whom the band shares close ties. It is a highly documentary-like work that captures the “present” of a band on the verge of a major breakthrough. Mixing was handled by Taiji Okuda, and mastering by Kentaro Kimura. Of course, listening to it on vinyl offers a whole new listening experience! Be sure to enjoy the artwork—illustrated by Ginji Kinashi and designed by Tatsuya Kunieda—on vinyl as well! The inner sleeve also features laid-back commentary by Fukuhara (Gt) and Hosono (Ba)! Chapter 2 of Shappo’s bizarre journey to an unknown destination—a must-buy!
