This is the first release from “DRINK&MOOD,” a label/project that has relaunched after mou—which operated in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, under the theme “DRINK&MOOD”—closed its physical store. Recorded during a performance at mou by ind fris, a musician based in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture, this release features a wonderful blend of drone, “slow house,” and ambient music, created with a floating, transparent, and soft soundscape using analog equipment. With a generous total running time of 120 minutes across Sides A and B, this is a lavish live recording that gently accompanies everyday moments—whether you’re enjoying a drink, doing chores, or reading—blending naturally into the background.
