Magic Power - Cat No: MP11
- updated:2026-11-05
A powerful, fast-paced dub techno track that races forward with a sense of speed, accompanied by a pleasant reverberation! MAXIM VUKOVIC and TILS—the duo who previously released a split album as Catalog No. 6 on the label 〈MAGIC POWER〉, which continues to unearth and release underground gems, and turned it into a cult hit—make their return. While retaining their deep sonic textures and minimalistic repetition, this release is infused with a newfound, supple drive.
Track List
TILS, who also releases solo work, creates an immersive experience with soundscapes that dive deep and resurface, along with electronic pulses; “Köln” (sample 1)—which builds momentum with a bassline that gradually takes on a three-dimensional quality—is an absolute masterpiece. In contrast, MAXIM VUKOVIC presents “Leverkusen” (sample 2), which builds momentum with rhythmic hi-hat patterns and aggressive bass loops. Both tracks feature skillful arrangements that amplify the sense of speed while retaining their delicate dub processing and sonic textures. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
