Cantrips is the musical project of Melbourne/Naarm artist, DJ and Dune Castle Records founder Patrick Ryan. “Cavern of the Chalice” is the latest single from his forthcoming album The Gnome One, arriving 27 November via Dune Castle Records.
The Gnome One is a ten-track instrumental record drawing on cinematic soul, library music and 1970s soundtrack composition. Initially composed on vintage synthesisers, the music was reinterpreted and recorded live with members of Surprise Chef, Karate Boogaloo and Temporary Blessings.
Each track scores a location within an original gnomish heist through Dune Castle, with the album accompanied by a playable Collaborative Storytelling Adventure.
