Steven Van Hulle of Rednose Distrikt steps into the light centre stage here, With a nice chunky long builder, a track to really build into… layers upon layers upon layers, like a really good slice of dutch apple cake - lookout for the Cinnamon and Star Anise amongst the 808 snares, claps and cs80 strings ;0)
Rednose Distrikt started out as a collaboration between two Amsterdam based artists, Kid Sublime and Steven de Peven. Kid Sublime left Rednose Distrikt and his place has since been taken by Aardvarck.

Soundwise the change in the group has had no effects, they still experiment with everything that ranges from broken-beat, off-side techno, cut-up soul or sample-slapstick-jazz.
