Maxi Meraki, Mich and Soda bring a brighter side of melodic techno to RaRaLand Records with "Strawberry".
RaRaLand Records continues with "Strawberry", a new collaboration between Maxi Meraki, Mich and Soda. Landing as the label's third release, the track takes a more open and uplifting direction, bringing together melodic techno scale with a warm, positive energy.
Built around a driving groove, a distinctive vocal and a bright piano line, "Strawberry" has the size of a peak-time record without leaning into darker or overly dramatic territory. There is a sense of release running through it instead: euphoric, melodic and life-affirming, with the kind of lift that feels equally suited to a festival stage or the final stretch of a long night.
Belgian producer Maxi Meraki has built a wide-ranging catalogue across labels including Diynamic, Higher Ground, Insomniac Records and Pete Tong's Places & Spaces. Moving between melodic house, indie dance and more club-focused material, his music has increasingly found its own space between strong grooves and bigger emotional moments.
Together with Mich and Soda, "Strawberry" pushes that approach towards its most optimistic end, resulting in a record that feels expansive without becoming heavy and emotional without losing its direct connection to the dancefloor.
Following Read the News' "Little Jaguar" and Tim Engelhardt & Coach Harrison's "Shivers", "Strawberry" marks the third release on RaRaLand Records and continues to broaden the young label's sound without moving away from its melodic core.
