Personal Break are Swiss beatmaker Breakplus and west London emcee 3rd Person, joining forces for a full LP. Breakplus brings a warm, crate-dug MPC sound that has earned steady underground support, including plays on NTS. 3rd Person brings sharp, story-driven rhymes honed on stages from Glastonbury's BBC Introducing to the Jazz Café. First single 'Spellbound' is classic 90s boom bap with an unmistakably UK feel: dusty drums, rugged loops and a flow that's pure London. It's the first taste of their debut album Collector's Item, out soon on Mr Beatnick's imprint Mythstery Records.
