Chicago's Felix Da Housecat and outback-Australia's Kristin Velvet join forces once again for the fourth instalment of their acclaimed 'Cats Love Velvet' project this October. The pair first collaborated back in 2018 after Velvet saw a video of Felix Da Housecat dancing to her track 'Now or Never', this kicked off a relationship that has led to the four collabrative Cats Love Velvet EPs on Berlin label Arms & Legs, gaining support from Dave Clarke, Truncate, The Blessed Madonna and more. Opening track 'Rise' delivers a modern take on the electro house sound that was pioneered by the likes of DMX Krew, I-F and of Felix himself, it's a no holds barred chunky dance floor banger, driven by it s analogue grunt and lashings of quirky charm. On the flip 'Equinox' offers a distinct change of pace, a percussive drum work out that will appeal to those seeking a more hypnotic, electronica sound.
