Composed by Berto Pisano for Giuliano Biagetti’s 1972 film of the same name, this soundtrack is a feast of lounge-sound embellishments, strings, harps, vocalisms and classical guitars. Romantic orchestral pieces alternate with easy-listening ones enriched by Bacharach-esque touches and Edda Dell'Orso’s signature vocals (tracks 1, 6 and 8). The grooviest number in the soundtrack, “Sex Affair”, is a jazzy, r'n'b-influenced shake featuring Hammond, trumpet and electric guitar solos – a perfect fit for the film’s discotheque scene it was scored for.
