Furtherset builds monuments that are both solid as stone and ethereal vapour alike. Stacked harmonic figures form voluminous bodies that flow continuously from above. As melodic cascades of synths and sampled voices spill over their boundaries they reveal shifting symmetries, while sonic objects are slung from the stream, float in space and melt into their their shadows below.

Furtherset’s music is an open invitation to immerse oneself into weightless states of mind. As a representative of the “Italian New Wave”, his approach to musical aesthetics is both demanding and pleasing: the depth and beauty unveil themselves only to those who listen closely. Furtherset was a participant of the 2015 Red Bull Music Academy in Paris and has played some of Italy’s most renowned festivals.
