The "Crystal Silence EP" is more than just a teaser for the upcoming full length album "This Is" as it features two exclusive mixes that won't be on the LP. The EP starts with the title track, "Crystal Silence", a deep, beautiful and previously unissued street soul ballad representing an ideal specimen of the genre. Next up is an incredible and exclusive mix of the track "Keep Your House In Disorder" which is much funkier than the original version. On both songs you can hear Ghia at their peak when the band teamed up with German singer Lisa Ohm. The EP ends with a short instrumental reprise of "Crystal Silence", again, an unreleased version and different from the "in dub" mix which can be found on the Curaçao Blue album. Jazz funk doesn't get any smoother than this, does it?
