C'est La Vie' is the debut release from new unit YOBRUDI, a collaborative outfit of two Berlin based instrumentalists - Australian drummer Ziggy Zeitgeist and Italian pianist Alex Trebo. Layered sounds of modern electronic music production techniques, synthesized bass, dulcet whispers, and analog kicks casts a retro glow on this laid back funk burner. The atmospheric mood has the theme-song feel of an everyday hero or the enticing opening of a gangsta beach flick set on the Amalfi coastline.
