Shizuoka based producer, SONARUM aka S.O.N. has released “Dots To Groove” EP on Kyoto's NC4K as the fourth lot of the "Yellow" series.
Funky voice samples, glitchy sounds and thick bass intertwine on the first track 'Magic', a house track that represents a kind of alternative.
The second track, Turn the Light off, has a funky riff that repeats itself, but the pad sounds from the hardware give it an air of weirdness.
The remixers are South Korea-based international breakthrough Closet Yi and NC4K boss Stones Taro.Closet Yi's remix, with its strong bottom and more emphasis on the breakbeat, and Stones Taro's trancy interpretation of the original will both get you dancing on the dancefloor this year.
